Installation Copying from the Master Disk Copy the contents of the original Bliss Saver disk to your hard disk. The easiest way to do this is to drag the Imaja disk icon to the hard disk icon on the desktop. Then drag the Bliss Saver floppy disk to the Trash to eject it. Starting Bliss Saver Now that you have installed Bliss Saver on your hard disk, double-click the Bliss Saver application to start it up. The first time you run Bliss Saver, you are asked to personalize your application. Type your name and organization into the dialog and click OK. If you do not have an organization, you should enter ‘Self’ in the organization box so that the OK button becomes active. Bliss Saver can be installed so that it will automatically start up every time you start your computer. If it is not installed in this way, you will need to manually start Bliss Saver to use it. If you are running Bliss Saver for the very first time, Bliss Saver asks you if you want it to run automatically every time you start your computer. This function is the same as choosing Install from the File menu in Bliss Saver. Note: Do not drag or copy Bliss Saver into your System Folder. Bliss Saver is not an INIT, CDEV, or extension. Bliss Saver is a stand-alone application and can run from anywhere on your hard disk. For System 7 and OS 8 Users Choose the Install command in the File menu. This command installs an alias of Bliss Saver in the Startup Items folder in the System Folder. Any items in this folder are automatically opened when you start your computer. To stop Bliss Saver from automatically starting up, remove the Bliss Saver alias from the Startup Items folder. For System 6 Users To use Bliss Saver as a screen saver in System 6, you need to be running MultiFinder. If you are not using MultiFinder, choose Set Startup from the Special menu. In the Set Startup dialog, choose Start up with: MultiFinder. Restart the Macintosh. MultiFinder should now be running. Then double-click the Bliss Saver application to start it. When Bliss Saver is running, choose Set Startup from the Special menu. Click Opened Applications and DAs so that Bliss Saver will be included as a startup application.
